:- After your optional breakfast at your hotel of stay our guide will meet you for a short briefing before departure at around 09:00hrs, we travel to the largest sand mass on earth, the Kalahari Desert and our accommodation for the night, the Kalahari Anib Lodge. Arriving early afternoon, our tour will go on a short sand dune guided walks in the sand masses of the Kalahari Desert, where you will come across the many antelopes found in this area like springbok, Oryx. You may wish to participate in many optional activities which are being offered by the Lodge, like game drives, cheetah walking, and many more.

Day 2 Kalahari Desert to Sesriem (Sossusvlei)
: - Our early morning departure at around 06:00hrs you might need to arrange a packed breakfast with your hotel on this day, we are rewarded with a beautiful scenic route taking us through the south west of Namib towards Sossusvlei. We arrive at either Sesriem Camp site when camping or Sossus Dune Lodge when lodging or similar our base for the night, in time for a refreshing sundowner at the Elim Dune.

Day 3 Sesriem (Sossusvlei)
: - Dawn departure around 04:30 from camp to arrive at the Sand Dune 45 before sunrise, we drive down an ancient river bed surrounded by towering dunes to the 2 x 4 wheel parking place (around 55kms) and take a 4x4 shuttle into the Sossusvlei area to appreciate the beauty of this place in early morning light and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the region. We explore this unique area on foot before heading into Dead Vlei with its large expanse of bleached cracked clay and skeletal camel thorn trees, contrasting with a backdrop of huge dunes with their ever-changing colours. We can either walk or take the 4x4 shuttle back to our vehicle. As we drive back to our accommodation we will stop at the famous Dune 45 and climb this dune if we wish or just wander around the base. We return to Sesriem and visit the nearby Sesriem Canyon, one of the few permanent water sources before arriving back at our lodge late afternoon to watch the sunset over this spectacular desert.

Day 4 Sesriem (Sossusvlei) Via Welvis Bay to Swakopmund

Today we drive through the Namib Naukluft Park, the third largest game reserve in Africa and one of the largest in the world. You will have plenty of opportunities to see Desert Zebras, Gemsbok, Springbok and Ostrich. We pass through the Tropic of Capricon line via the Gaub Pass and Kuiseb Canyon and arrive in Walvis Bay in time for lunch. Watching these greater flamingos are likely to be the only tall, pink bird in any given locale. They also have long, lean, curved necks and black-tipped bills with a distinctive downward bend. and after we proceed to our hotel of stay in Swakopmund which is about 30km north of Welvis bay. We arrive in Swakopmund in the afternoon which gives you time to explore this quaint seaside town on foot, we encourage our guests to make their next day activities on arrival. Day 5 Swakopmund & The Skeleton Coast

: - On this day you have to arrange your optional activities a day before your arrival to avoid disapointment as swakopmund is a very busy place and some of the activities are always fully booked so make up your mind and got for it, as this day is set aside for your optional activities. You may decide to explore the town with its spectacular German colonial-style architecture, the lighthouse and the Kristal Galleries where you can see the largest known crystal cluster.

Day 6 Swakopmund Via Twylfelfontein to Kamanjab (Himba Tribe)

:-Enjoy an early morning breakfast or packed breakfast and departure from your lodge is at 06h00. On the drive up the Skeleton Coast we explore the remains of a small shipwreck. Your route today takes you into the dramatic and beautiful scenery of Damaraland.
Himba Laddies Platting their Long hair
You have the chance to meet the wonderful Herero ladies who sell their handmade arts and crafts to support their rural families. A light roadside lunch is served en-route in the shadow of Namibia's tallest mountain, the Brandberg, Travel to the Himba Village for your Himba tour and you can interact with some of these colourful local characters who live in this harsh environment.

Day 7 Kamanjab to Etosha national park
Etosha National Park Lion Pride
: - An Early departure from kamanjab around 04:30am ask for a packed breakfast from the lodge before you sleep, we continue our journey to the national park and enjoy an optional brunch at Okaukuetjo rest camp, before entering Etosha National Park, through the Anderson Gate. We enjoy an afternoon game drive through the park visiting waterholes looking for predators as well as zebra, giraffe, elephant, rhino and many different species of antelope. We arrive at our lodge just before sunset and settle into our rooms, with en-suite bathroom and tea/coffee facilities. We highly recommend spending time at the floodlit waterhole while you will be waiting for your dinner at the lodge, sit over an open fire and an late night is recommended.

Day 8 Etosha National Park
Black Rhino in Etosha national park
; - We start our first game drive at sunrise to catch the predators while they are still active, visiting many waterholes and return to Halali for breakfast. Our second game drive mid-morning takes us to the impressive Etosha Pan “great white place” where you can get out of the vehicle and experience this 4500 sq km “saline desert” before continuing your game drive to look for the Big 4. our final game drive across the park towards Okaukuejo calling into some well-known waterholes and leave the park .

Day 9 Etosha national Park to Windhoek City
: - Departure is after your breakfast, and then drive back to Windhoek, please note that the coming out of the park depends with the time of coming in the park on the day of arrival, for example if you come at the check in gate at 12:00noon, it means that after your days of stay in the National Park you will also come out at 12:00 noon, and this will determine the time of arrival in Windhoek. Clients will be dropped off at the hotel of stay, in time for your shopping around the city, unless on holiday and weekends shops open until 17:00hrs.

What To Pack
Generally, casual comfortable clothing is suitable throughout the year.
The most practical items for Desert Tours are:
T shirts
Jeans or safari trousers for the cool evenings and mornings
A fleece or warm sweater for those early morning Dune Climbing.
A good pair of Sunglasses
Sun block, a hat and insect repellent are essential!
Binoculars and a camera with lots of film! For digital ensure batteries are charged- there is no or limited electricity at some campsites but we can charge via the cigarette lighter too.
A headlamp or torch is vital.
If you enjoy a whisky or the like, you are welcome to bring a bottle along.
A towel, and your own toiletries (ladies please remember there are no shops for emergencies)
Any medication if necessary, we do have a medical aid box with the basics.
There will be times when you are exposed to the sun so a thin long sleeve shirt may come in handy.
The early Dune Climbing will be very cold in the winter months. (May, June, July)
Please attempt to travel as light as possible- space is always an issue on Safari.
Last but not least, a sense of humour …………this is Africa!
