13 days 12 Nights Three Countries Safari Package

Day 1: Arrival Windhoek City
Upon arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, Our representative driver Guide will meet and greet you who will take you to the Hotel in Windhoek for an overnight stay. Overnight accommodation will be at the Pension Moni hotel, also our dinner is served at the hotel restaurant.

Day 2: Windhoek to Okaukejo
Pick up from hotel and set out from Windhoek at approximately 09.00 hours, passing through Okahandja a town of great significance to the Herero people because it was once the main settlement of the Ovaherero people. We pay a visit here to the Woodcarvers Market before heading north to the Okaukuejo Rest Camp.

Day 3-4: Okaukuejo to Roys Camp
This morning we have another game drive before we exit the park to Roy’s Camp for an overnight stay, Roy's Rest Camp is only a small part of the farm Elandslaagte, which consumes a space of 2800ha in total. Roy's Rest Camp was started in 1995 and was built for Cattle Farming and Tourism as the main industries. Elandslaagte is one of the oldest farms in the district of Grootfontein, and has been there since 1930.

Day 5: Rundu to Mahangu
Today we head north-east via Rundu to Mahangu Safari Lodge which lies on the banks of the Okavango river. The lodge is situated on an island in the un-spoilt reaches of the pan handle in the Western Caprivi Strip, dinner is served at the lodge restaurant.

Day 6: Mahangu Safari Lodge
Today is given over to optional activities such as a morning game drive in the Mahangu National Park and in the afternoon a boat cruise through the Okanvango Swamps or a Mokoro (dug out canoe) Safari. Overnight at Mahangu Safari Lodge included is dinner for your second night stay at the lodge, stories at the camp fire.

Day 7-8: Passing through the Bwabwatwa National Park to Camp Kwando
After an early breakfast we drive through the Bwabwatwa National Park to Camp Kwando for a two nights stay. This lodge is situated on the Kwando River in the Eastern Caprivi check in for two nights and the next morning you have a choice of optional activities, including a morning game drive through the Mudumu National Park and a boat cruise on the Kwando River to look for hippos and African fish eagles. You may also opt to visit a nearby village to experience the culture of the local people. Overnight at Camp Kwando.

Day 9-10: Camp Kwando through Caprivi Strip to Chobe National Park
We drive towards Chobe National Park through the Caprivi Strip and cross the border into Botswana where we drive through the Chobe National Park to Kasane. Here we will stay for two nights at Chobe Safari Lodge and the next morning we will embark on a full day of Chobe National Park tour. Strongly recommended are a morning game drive in the Chobe National Park, famous for its large herds of elephant and buffalo, and an afternoon boat cruise along the Chobe River where you are guaranteed to see lots of hippos.

Day 11-12: Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls
After breakfast we cross the border to Zimbabwe where we going to spend two nights at the Victoria falls town, embark on a sunset cruise upon arrival, and the next day you will experience tour of the falls and spend the rest of the day on optional activities, such as Elephant ride, walk with the lions and many more. Overnight at A’ Zambezi River Lodge, included is the fall tour and the mighty Zambezi sunset cruise.

Day 13: Victoria Falls Airport Transfer
Have your breakfast at the hotel check out and relax by the pool waiting to be transfers to the Victoria falls international airport for your flight back home, this will be the end of your tour.

Airport Transfers are done by us or a partner company.

Generally, casual comfortable clothing is suitable throughout the year.
The most practical items for Desert Tours are:
 T shirts
 Jeans or safari trousers for the cool evenings and mornings
 A fleece or warm sweater for those early morning Dune Climbing.
 A good pair of Sunglasses
 Sun block, a hat and insect repellent are essential!
 Binoculars and a camera with lots of film! For digital ensure batteries are charged- there is no or limited electricity at some campsites but we can charge via the cigarette lighter too.
 A headlamp or torch is vital.
 If you enjoy a whisky or the like, you are welcome to bring a bottle along.
 A towel, and your own toiletries (ladies please remember there are no shops for emergencies)
 Any medication if necessary, we do have a medical aid box with the basics.
 There will be times when you are exposed to the sun so a thin long sleeve shirt may come in handy.
 The early Dune Climbing will be very cold in the winter months. (May, June, July)
 Please attempt to travel as light as possible- space is always an issue on Safari.
